    I would like to thank all of you who helped me create the effect
I was looking for... I'm now finished that part, and the shockwave effect
I was after looks EXACLTLY likewhat I had in mind, when I started... I
ended up using a subdivided rectangular plane, (which I saved as plane1)
then bent it 360 deg, to make a circle, removed all polys, ans saved it s
plane2. In layout, I just playrd around with Fractal noise till I was
satisfied with the effect, mapped it on plane 1, and morphed it onto plane2
    And that's something else I never knew how to do before.... The
morphing of two objects like that...
